The Minister of state for Petroleum Resources, Chief Timpire Sylva in his keynote speech delivered at the 2021 SEPLAT Energy summit in Abuja has disclosed that the effectuation of the Petroleum Industry Act (PIA) would augment the oil producing capacity of Nigeria by about 4 million barrels per day from its current stance of 1.2 million barrels per day.
This new development as stated by the minister would enable the Oil and Gas industry impart more into the economy.
